Agriturismo Alagna

Heaps of authentic local character. Loved being up the mountain and being able to ski into the village in the morning. Enjoyed the walk into town for dinner in the evening and the work-out on the way back up the hill. It was kept very clean. Continental breakfast was a treat. Owners/ staff were friendly and helpful. It was nice being able to use the kitchen. Warm and cosy, plenty of hot water and comfy beds. Wi-fi etc was fine. Reasonable value.

We would have found it beneficial to have a lounge area with soft seating in addition to the breakfast tables. We had our own skis and took them into the room as weren't comfortable leaving them outside on the ski rack, a ski/ boot room would be a possible addition, definitely not a deal-breaker. If you don't get the mini-bus, the walk to/ from the slopes wearing ski-boots is not for everyone.

Nice varied breakfast, cozy, great location for adventurous skiers. Very friendly staff, offered useful advice and help with local traffic violations. Bonus: friendly dogs

Vackert beläget en bit ovanför byn, nära transport-pist. Personligt, trevligt, välstädat och fin-fin frukost. Rekommenderas varmt.

Beautifully located and perfect for two of us. Lovely friendly staff and perfect breakfast. When there is ample snow you can ski in and out(a short walk up hill) We had a car, parked in the town and kept skis and boots in a locker by the lift(rent from ski shop)The bunk beds would be perfect for 2 kids but four adults might be a squeeze unless you know each other well!

È un posto perfetto per chi sceglie Alagna ed è alla ricerca della natura, non la montagna patinata che si trova facilmente ovunque, ma quella autentica fatta di tradizione, essenzialità e l’accoglienza schietta e speciale di una grande baita di legno…per la colazione c’è il latte, lo yogurt ed i formaggi della fattoria dell’host, le torte, il cibo genuino ed il caffè della moka…

This is a gem of a place, looking down into the Alagna valley. It is quiet and very comfortable. The rooms are immaculate and very tastefully furnished. Breakfast is good with plenty of choice and endless coffee! With our stay in the depth of winter it was warm and inviting. Pierangela is lovely and very helpful, even delivering my ski gloves down to Alagna when I forgot them! It must be amazing in summer.

The walls are wooden and sounds do transmit from other rooms, not a problem for me but commented on by my friends in another room. The access road is steep and with hairpin bends, if you book in winter make sure you have snow tyres and/or chains as the road can be treacherous. If possible it would be very nice to have soft drinks or tea/coffee available other than at breakfast as one is remote from the town.
