Rose and Crown Hotel

Very friendly and helpful staff. Very nice breakfast selection in the morning. Rooms were comfy.

I had a single room, and the bathroom was outside, but due to space, I doubt that can be changed. The room itself was nice.

We had a good stay. ▪︎Bed was very comfortable, clean and big with lovely fluffy pillows ▪︎good coffee and tea facility in the room ▪︎Nice large fluffy towels ▪︎ friendly housemaids ▪︎very central ▪︎warm room Only downsides were ▪︎it was very noisy at the front with drop offs and pick ups right outside although there was double glazing on the windows besides the original windows and there was a fan in the room so this definitely helped ▪︎ The bar was very expensive so we only had 2 drinks the whole weekend there ▪︎ only1 coat hanger on the clothes rail Overall i would mark it 8/10 and would stay here again.

Room was large and clean with good facilities. Breakfast and dinner in the bar area was good quality and service was exceptionally fast. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Liked it so much we are staying again in a months time

Stairs up to room were steep.

A good welcome and a wonderful friendly staff Food and everything was excellent and nothing seemed too much trouble. A wonderful stay. Would highly recommend the Rose and Crown.

Location was excellent. Room was comfortable and clean. Smell in bathroom when first arrived.

Lack of car parking, local was only 4 hours otherwise would cost £12 a day. Breakfast on first morning was not good. Wasn't advised on breakfast options. Breakfast was burnt and orange juice was a fruit shoot bottle.
