"Best Courtyard Marriott - very friendly staff"

I travel frequently (20-30 trips/year). I’ve stayed at this hotel twice recently and I can’t speak highly enough about how friendly the staff is. Frankly, I don’t expect much from a Courtyard Marriott customer service experience but the staff here is extremely helpful, friendly and some even remembered my name even though I hadn’t interacted with them. The hotel is also recently renovated and everything was very clean and very well maintained. Never thought I’d have a favorite Courtyard Marriott but now I do.

Fist I was surprised I was charged twice ($50.00 for secure deposit) but they fixed, so I'm happy the people there was very polite and the place clean and quiet.

"Horrible customer service"

I’m extremely disappointed with the customer service I received at Courtyard by Marriott. The employee, Brianna, seemed completely uninterested in helping me with my room issue, specifically a problem with the air conditioning not working properly. Despite my efforts to explain the problem, she appeared disengaged and unhelpful. The lack of effort to resolve my concern was frustrating and unprofessional. She kept implying that she was new, but I’ve seen her working at the front desk for a while, so I would assume she would know what she’s doing - it felt like an excuse not to help. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning to this hotel until significant improvements are made. 1/5 stars.
