Jungle Lotus Villas

Its a good spot to relax, but no amenities nearby at all. It felt like I got lost in an isolated farmland and the road to this property is unpaved, narrow, and rocky. No driver wants to come into this properly unless your driver is privately hired.

We asked kadek the owner for help to find a nusa penida beach trip she recommended her friends ONA tours so we booked. im very disappointed with this trip the driver was an hour late to come and we thought it was postponed already also i thought the 700,000 rupiah includes the tour. We got to the island theres no one there for us so we had to avail another 800,000 rupiah for tours only. If i only knew this was like this i should have gotten from KLOOK which is only 700,000 rupiah with tours included or have availed with my friend who is a tour guide which gave 500,000 rupiah per person with tours already. I got from her because i thought that her friend which she recommended will not OVERPRICED. This is not good for tourist especially if its overpriced. Whatever her excuse is that she just recommended her she.please recommend people that are Legit and not overpricing. When we complained from ONA tours they said its her to blame for overpricing. As guests we are not satisfied with this service. DO NOT book with this accomodation. They can not be trusted!

This guest house is great. Very quiet, very calm. You can really enjoy the nature. The pool has a crazy nice view to the forest! Each house is very well designed and the bathroom is impressive! The owner and the staff are very reactive and very nice. What is more all meals are cooked “in live” by themselves! So fresh food and great taste guaranteed! It is not in center Ubud, that is good because it is very quiet, and you can ask the hotel to rent scooters or ask they to book a taxi. By the way we asked them to pick up us at the airport when we arrived.

Set away from the hussle and bussle of central Ubud down a scenic dirt road (accessible by foot, bike and car) is this very intimate oasis of jungle tranquility where we were fortunate to spend a week relaxing and having a taste of Balinese hospitality and life. We were extremely well looked after by the owner, designer and creator of this majestic little spot and all the lovely Jungle Lotus staff. Kadek also very generously invited us to participate in Galungan (one of Bali’s most important celebrations). This was a wonderful experience, allowing us to once again gain an invaluable insight into the richness of Balinese culture. The villas are beautifully designed and decorated with traditional Balinese artworks, while the space of the upstairs bedroom, balcony, open air downstairs lounge and bathroom (excellent hot water) are all lovely spaces that enable guests to make themselves at home with ease. The outlook of each villa over the lush jungle, creek and rice fields offers tranquility and an abundance of wild life to observe. A delicious breakfast made from fresh local produce overlooking the inviting pool is the perfect way to start each day. We highly recommend Jungle Lotus Villas to other travellers and can’t wait to return soon.

Jungle Lotus Villas was the the best place that we stayed at during our two weeks in Bali. The perfect place to start our Bali adventure. Kadek and their network of staff and taxi drivers are all very polite and reliable and trustworthy. The place and facilities were amazing and excellent customer service. Every morning at the 8 AM breakfast they helped us to plan our day and get tour guides for whatever we wanted to do. My girlfriend and I could not have been happier with this place. As with any relatively new place they simply try harder than their competitors and it shows.
