Gray Manor Hotel

We arrived late and stayed for one night after a wedding nearby. Was so glad for the spacious car park because I was absolutely shattered and it was so dark. We stayed in a twin room with double and single bed. The single wasn't quite as plush as the double and my daughter was so disappointed she wasn't allowed to sleep in the big bed! The single was a bit hard but not too bad. I was grateful for the extra pillow in the wardrobe as they were a bit flat for me. The shower head holder was loose so it had to be hand held. The bathroom was a bit weathered though clean. The toilet took an age to refill so when all of us needed the loo, it took ages to be able to flush. Room was clean and tidy and we appreciated the kettle and hot drinks though we didn't need them this time. There was a decent English breakfast selection, with cereals, hot drinks and fruit juices for breakfast. We arrived around 9am and had to wait for several things to be refilled. Coffee was good so that was appreciated. If I was to be picky I would've liked pastries or pancakes 😁 My daughter fell in love with the two beautiful dogs who live there and she didn't want to leave. There was a playground on site, which we sadly didn't have time to explore. Overall we had a really lovely albeit short stay and would definitely come back if we were ever in the area again.

We stayed 2 nights. The staff there were so welcoming, friendly and happy to help. The breakfast was amazing with plenty of options from cooked breakfast to yoghurt, fruit and cereals. We had an evening meal too which was really good. The bed was comfortable and the jacuzzi bath was great. Our son loved the playarea too and the dogs were lovely and friendly. Only negative we had was that the room wasn't as clean as expected but other than that we enjoyed our stay!

Food was great both dinner and breakfast. Room although some attempt has been made to bring it up to date more work is needed.

Work only 10 mins away. Amesbury 5 mins. Staff very friendly and helpful.

THE STAFF WERE VERY NICE AND ACCOMMODATING, OVERALL IT HAD A NICE FEELING , I LIKE THE CREATIVE DECOR. THE BEDROOM WAS PERFECT SIZE AND COMFORTABLE - THE BED WAS EXCELLENT, MATRESS IDEAL FOR ME...FIRM - ONLY ISSUE WAS A BED SHEET ALBEIT CLEAN WAS FULL OF BOBBLES....WE ENJOYED THE NIGHT

We had a comfortable one night stay at Gray Manor. There was plenty of free parking and check in was smooth with the lady appearing like magic once we’d arrived! We had a spacious double room in a quiet part of the hotel. The facilities were all fine and clean. The bed was comfortable and there was a stand fan for the room which was very welcome in the heatwave we have been having. Also the windows opened properly and even though you can hear the road, it was not terribly disturbing so we slept well. We had our dinner there also and sat outside ( again you can hear the road all the time). The grounds are lovely and there is a good kids playground. We saw birds of prey, and rabbits hopping about in the evening. There is a simple menu but it’s ample choice for a quick stopover kind of trip. The ribs were amazing! Staff were really friendly and very efficient.
