This hotel is everything and more. Beautiful decor, grounds, pool, excellent shower, great breakfast buffet… the list goes on. The extra mile moment: upon arrival to our room we were presented with mini robes that were the correct sizes for our two children. Amazing!

Washington and Duke is part of the Duke University/Duke Hospital family. I am a transplant patient at Duke and we stay here several times a year when i have to be at the hospital. This is a wonderful hotel in every way. The staff knows us and why we stay there. They are wonderful and accommodating in every way.

"Feels like a vacation the minute you walk through the doors"

It's an amazing experience every time we go and upon return, we're always planning a time to go back. The hospitality, the food and the facilities make it feel like a vacation the minute you arrive. We live 45min away and really get to escape here.

"Ever Delightful Wa Duke"

Members of our Board of Advisors and well-travelled couples just enjoyed two nights at the Inn. They were delighted with every aspect of the Inn’s hospitality and service. We enjoyed breakfast, lunch, and cocktails. Every staff member from valet to front desk, buffet line, hostess desk, servers, the bar (even when crowded) made us feel welcomed, at home and comfortable.

"Amazing Stay for Family of 5"

We had such a lovely stay. We were greeted by Logan at the front desk, who was patient and so accommodating and kind to our family (including our 3 young children). The kids had a blast at the indoor pool, and my husband and I loved the food and ambiance at the Bull Durham bar. The room was tidy and beautiful. We will definitely be back the next time we come to Durham. Thanks for everything!

"Southern Charm Meets Modern Comfort Near Duke"

This is a wonderful hotel with a great blend of classic Southern charm and modern amenities. I was initially concerned it might feel dated, but that wasn’t the case at all. My kids and I felt very comfortable throughout our stay and truly appreciated the warm, welcoming service. We were visiting Duke University, and the location couldn’t be better, it’s perfect for that purpose. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Duke or the Durham area.

Washington and Duke Inn in Durham, NC is a special place. I highly recommend staying here for any occasion. We were there for medical reasons but our respite here is the best part of the trip to Durham.
