We arrived and unhoused people were sitting in the parking lot. We went inside and rang a buzzer. The attendant asked us before unlocking the door if we had a reservation. Once confirmed, he let us in. He gave us one blank key card. There was no elevator and we had to walk up to the 2nd floor. When we walked down the hallway to our room, some doors were cracked open because the occupants were cooking. When we went in our room, the two double beds were sagging and squeezed, the curtains were worn the bathroom had stains in the sink and toilet. I didn’t take pictures! This left me feeling sick to my stomach! We gathered our things and walked back down the stairs and told the attendant we were not staying and was checking out! He had to nerve to ask if the reason was “other plans or the room not clean”! The picture advertised looked NOTHING like what we walked into. This was disgusting! I felt unsafe! And the pictures on the site were 100% fraudulent for this location!!!! I was able to cancel the second night and will be refunded. For the sake of Bookit.com reputation, I would remove this hotel from your listing.

Location was great, close to everything, especially I85, which I appreciated. One thing to mention though, there are some sketchy looking people around, but nobody has ever given me an issue and everyone seems to just mind their business, so no issues there! Room was very spacious, decent sized bathroom with plenty of counter space. Shower gets as hot as you need it to.

Hallways smelled horrible!! A strong urine smell, as well as other weird smells. The room I stayed in had a very strong musty, cigarette, old mildew smell, especially in the bathroom for some reason. Glad I only spent 1 night, or I'd have definitely asked for another room. The bathroom sink was operable, but the fixture was definitely damaged. It lifted up everytime you turn on the bathroom sink water, so I had to hold the top down while turning on.

Staff was friendly

Needs major updates. Even though it was clearly posted no smoking or vaping all I smelled was cigarettes and pot.

The hotel was conveniently located for the event that we attended. There are food options and a gas station near.

The mattress on one bed in our room is aging.

Not university area and the rooms could stand an upgrade on appliances

Location, not clean except the bed, smelled bad, had car air fresheners hanging from the lights, TV had to be programmed by the staff, paint hanging off of ceiling and walls, the free breakfast was terrible...there were only 2 bagels, nothing to drink but coffee, and stale cereal to eat...I ate elsewhere.

The carpets in the hallway need to be cleaned and it smelled like smoke.
