Filigrana Villa Lindos

The property is beautifully decorated and set out perfectly. Greta is extremely helpful and went to the trouble of supplying us with candles and lots of lovely edible treats so we could join in with the Greek Orthodox celebrations, which was lovely to see. The Villa is a few minutes walk from bars and restaurants but still very peaceful at night. The terrace has a wonderful view of the acropolis, where if you are lucky you may see the goats on the hillside. Lovely neighbours next door who give you a friendly greeting.

A very comfortable and attractively furnished villa in an excellent location, just a few minutes walk from everything in Lindos. There is a terrace on the upper floor with sunshades and chairs, ideal for breakfast or a drink. There are three spacious double bedrooms and a large living room, all air-conditioned (Rhodes is very hot, even in September!). The host, Greta, was very helpful, especially with our travel between the airport and the villa.

The house is ideally located. Right outside the centre, just enough to avoid the hustle and bustle, but within walking distance of bars, restaurants and shops. In 5 minutes you can reach both the main beach and the bay of Saint Paul. The house on our arrival was extremely clean. It is very cosy and spacious (the 3 air-conditioned bedrooms can comfortably accommodate 3 adult couples). The kitchen on the first floor is fully equipped and from here you can access the huge terrace. The terrace is the real highlight of the house. We were only there all the time (in the afternoon you can suffer the heat though). Note that the first floor is reached via an external staircase but still within the courtyard of the property. Last but not least, the host Greta was kind and helpful. She offered to give us a lift by car from the bus station both on arrival and departure. In addition, she provided us with a "welcome basket" of goodies including oil, wine, sweets and typical local products. In the kitchen there was plenty of coffee, fruit and other useful things for cooking. I highly recommend this accommodation to spend a few unforgettable days in Lindos.
