Hotel La Residenza - Adults only

Sehr schönes Hotel, am äußeren Rand des ehemaligen 'Lahovary'-Platzes. Im Stil alter Villa, mit viel Charme und Charakter. Antike schwere Möbel, Teppiche, und ein Hauch einer vergangenen Zeit, runden das Ganze ab. Der Garten mit Swimmingpool, Aussenterrasse, Poolbar und abends, 'magischer' Beleuchtung, lädt buchstäblich zum verweilen ein. Nein, ich bin keine 'gekaufte' Rezession, auch wenn ich on meinem Überschwänglich, vielleicht so klinge 🙈. Mein Mann und ich waren sehr begeistert und werden hier bestimmt wieder absteigen.

Das ist zwar typisch für rumänische Hotels, doch mag ich keine Badewanne im Bad, sondern würde eine Dusche bevorzugen.

We liked that it was easy to find. They have private parking in semi-shade, which is good for the car as well. Staff was polite and always available. It was peaceful, without crowd, no noise, and it’s relatively close to center. The pool was important for us, since we were there in July, and the water was clear and warm. Outdoor siting area with bar was very nice as well. Included breakfast was great also, plenty of options, even for vegetarians, but not vegans. We came with the baby, so the staff provided cot for us.

The pool was relatively small, but since there was no crowd when we were there, it was ideal for us. Also, there can be plenty of mosquitoes, so be aware of that.

I booked the room for my parents, they enjoyed their stay😌

The hotel had a very interesting and unique interior. You can see that as soon as you enter. The hotel's courtyard is quite large, full of greenery and trees, well-maintained, peaceful, and isolated from the outside. We spent most of our time sitting or lying there, as there are sunbeds and a pool. The pool wasn't in use because we visited in early May. The parking area is spacious and secure, with shade for the cars. You enter the parking lot with a card. Parking is really close to the rooms which is convenient. The rooms are clean, and the bathroom is spacious and tidy. There's a large bathtub. Shampoo, body lotion, and hair conditioner are provided, along with a hairdryer. Upon arrival, you also get coffee, tea, and water in the mini fridge. The rooms have a kettle. The rooms are insulated from outside noise, so it's peaceful in the evening. Wifi is good. Tv was smart and also connected to the internet. The distance from the city center is a 15–20 minute leisurely walk. The hotel restaurant has a beautiful interior. Breakfast is rich and excellent, with a wide selection of food, drinks, and fruit.
