Lovely big appartment, helpful to have hair dryer etc

Needed Nicer lighting - a bedside lamp. Needed A dimmer lamp for the living area. No smart TV

Views, cleanliness were great. Very comfortable.

I would have appreciated a few basic items, Salt and pepper, oil. Not quite Enough seating for a family.

The view from balcony is awesome! Also, neighborhood is quiet and safe. All facilities are well -equipped.

It’s a bit far from town centre about 2 km but still love the neighborhood. And parking is quite challenging but when we found the way to move our car, it is not that hard.

Nothing works, you can’t turn a light on a tv on the same time. No power and it has cockroaches. The wiring is extension cords. The view is amazing. However, I would stay away from this property. If you wanna enjoy your vacation.

The view was spectacular. The heating was great. Good kitchen.

TV didn’t work but we didn’t really need it.

Location. Had to depend on taxi. List of taxis to call were never available. One in particular very rude!! Electrical sockets had to be fixed. Microwave did not work. 30euro taxi spent every day to and from town. This additional fee should be stated in the property description. We had no idea! AND.. we had to text to find out how to get to the main office from the train station only to find out had to rent a taxi to get to the apartment. That was a surprise too. All in all will not book with Varenna properties or Booking.com again. Very disjointed.

Water power in shower ok at times Not sufficient electric points suitable for European use. The pins were mixed between plugs and the apartment did not inform us about plugs Cant use wifi and tv at the same time Should have hired a car as access to and from apartment with taxi can be difficult

The apartment was as advertised. Two bedrooms, full bath, full kitchen, and a living/dining room, with expansive views of Lake Como. Small but nice balcony with table and two chairs. Furniture was adequate but not special. We didn't have a car so each day we had to walk to the center of town . It was long (about 45 minutes, 1.2 miles) but quiet, much of it along the water. A bonus was the restaurant about half a block away, run by an lovely older couple. Delicious food, wine, and great views at reasonable prices. A great place to eat after a day of activity.

The apartment advertises for up to 4 people. We were three. However, there was no couch in the living room (only two stuffed chairs), and but 2 chairs on the deck. Not enough seating for us three. As far as location, though we came to love the quiet remoteness of it all, and enjoy the walk, if you are not a walker, or don't have a car, this is not the place for you. Especially given the climb back from the lake to the unit.

The view from the property was incredible. It was also very comfortable and clean.

While it is nice to have a parking spot, it was a bit difficult getting in and out of the driveway and parking spot.

View was phenomenal, area was quiet, apartment had everything we needed.

Proximity to town was a little further than we thought and it was quite a climb up to the apartment. There are only 6 taxis total in Varenna and when we called for a ride to the train station none of them wanted to take us.
