Vancouver West Cozy Retreat by Host Launch

No view of anything other than building work going on Every time we have rented an apartment/ annexe we were welcomed warmly , basic essentials left for us to use ie milk , coffee, tea , bread , two bottles of Luke warm water didn’t meet the mark !! It was not a place you would want to stay in for more than two nights.

I had a really great experience. I was traveling alone, and everything felt very safe — literally like being at home. On the day I arrived, I asked if I could leave my luggage a little earlier before check-in, and they had no problem accommodating me by letting me check in early and making me feel comfortable right away. I would absolutely recommend this place if you’re looking for somewhere that feels safe, cozy, and welcoming. I would definitely book here again without a doubt!

I stayed in two different rooms, and the last one felt a bit too small. Even though the accommodations were almost the same, I had a hard time sleeping unless I had the fan on because there wasn’t enough air circulation. Other than that, everything else was great.

The apartment was a good size with lots of room. Great shower and the hair dryer was fabulous! We also loved the toaster, try it and see! Sam is a very responsive host, nothing was too much trouble.

Very little natural daylight as our apartment was in the basement.

Very clean, comfortable and spacious. Lovely rain shower. Reasonable access by public transport.

My room had no blind and a makeshift curtain that tied with a ribbon but in no way allowed the room to be dark enough not to be woken at dawn, and sheer curtains that gave no confidence of privacy from the street. The area is very suburban with nothing of interest within walking distance.
