My husband and I stayed here for a weekend getaway. We love New Orleans and visit quite often since we live 1 hour away. We decided to try this hotel, since its close to the French Quarter. The facility was clean and the location was perfect. The rooms are tiny, so there’s not much space if you plan on bringing a group. The hotel does not have parking, which was a bit of an inconvenience, since we had to find our own parking and pay. Our biggest problem was after we checked out the hotel, I received a notification from my bank that the hotel was trying to send an additional charge through on my card. I returned to the hotel and spoke with staff about this attempt. I was notified that the extra charge was due smoking. After explaining to staff that me nor my husband smoked, the matter was resolved. Overall, the experience wasn’t all terrible, but for the reasons mentioned, I don’t think we’ll be visiting in the future.

The property is small and does not have parking.

The location is great and the rooms are cute . Staff was nice except for the check out staff

Staff on the departure day was kind of rude when bringing up an issue with a refund we were owed. Not the kind of way you should speak to your guests. We received the refund days later so it’s okay now.

Good location, nice comfy rooms, loved the bathroom

There was a bag of dirty linens right outside my door the entire time and the hallway definitely needed a vacuuming. You could also hear people walking above you and conversations in the rooms beside you. Not too bad, but you could definitely hear them.

Excellent location, nicely renovated place, comfortable and stuff was friendly. Being pet friendly (with no fee) is a huge plus as well.

The only bad thing was the faucet in the shower (the shower head), it barely let water through, made me irritated every time. The water pressure itself was good, just the ridiculous faucet spoiled everything.

"I wouldn’t recommend anyone of color to come here."

when i arrived at the hotel to check in the woman at the front desk informed me she could not find my reservation after i gave her my confirmation number, Before i arrived i called and made sure i could check in before 4:00pm. The woman over the phone asked for my reservation number i gave it to her and she said yes it was fine to check in early because my room was ready. Just to be told they couldn’t find my reservation and she cant do anything to help and to call customer service. When i called customer service they informed me all they could do was call the hotel when they called the hotel. They didn’t answer and customer service told me if they didn’t respond within 45 minutes they would give me a full refund and cover a stay somewhere else. Two hours passed and they still didn’t hear anything back from the hotel so they gave me a full refund and covered my stay at a different hotel a few hours later I got a charge to my chime card from the hotel of $140 why are you guys trying to charge my time card if y’all couldn’t even find my reservation.
