"Annoying owner or manager"

Quirky room very mod

Owner a nasty overbearing woman annoying me about her overcomplicated online check in. Never want to see her again. Toilet in the bathroom had water running through it all night. Door buzzer to let people in or out going off until the wee hours. We handed in our passports when we arrived but that woman took the good out of our stay.

We enjoyed our stay at Inside the Wall . The room was comfortable, clean and very walkable to everywhere in Lucca . One small setback was on the weekend evening we were there , there was a substantial amount of noise outside, quite late in the evening from young people leaving adjacent piazzas . Certainly not the fault of the property managers .

Lovely room! 4 very good views of the ‘wall’! Clean and tidy and well maintained - lovely espresso machine and coffee provided free of charge. Location is fantastic

Noise - the doors opening and closing throughout and keypads too loud at night

"Perfect spot a hidden gem!"

Great place to be in Lucca. Perfect to discover the city from and the owner is really nice and helpful. She showed us great restaurants and knows a lot about the history of the city. The city wall is great for a morning run (4km).
