Hotel Carvajal

This is our second stay at this very friendly hotel which is ideally located to explore the Monfrague National Park.

The hotel was more than adequate for the price. The food was very good indeed. Then staff was excellent and very helpful

Friendly, helpful staff, lively bar/restaurant areas, but we did prefer the food at Posada El Arriero

We could park our bicycles inside. Everybody was friendly. The hotel is perfect for a visit to the monfragüe biosphere reservate. and above all is the high quality food.

At first I thought it was very basic, but actually turned out to be very comfortable. Room was nice and warm, beds comfortable and even the shower was good too. We arrived at 10 pm and were told that we could have dinner in the dinning room away from the noisy bar. Food was delicious, they prepared an omelette for our 2 year old. I have to recommend the 'Revuelto de queso torta al casar y espárragos' and the 'natillas'! We also had a very late breakfast (11 am) Most places probably wouldn't serve breakfast so late, when included in the room charge!

it was quirky! lovely location! Amazing dinner. lovely waitress.

bar was dirty. everywhere was extremely hot when we arrived. staff were overstretched. Worst the shower didn’t work!! Breakfast was underwhelming.
