It is situated in the city center, but in a second line of houses, so it is not loud. The reservation and the checkin/checkout worked smoothly. And the stuff was very friendly. I can totally recommend it!

Location is great, in Ilmenau's center and a 5 minute walk from the train station, a bit of German proficiency is needed to do the Check-in, but other than that, everything was woderful, nice staff, clean rooms, and the breakfast was delicious.

The only downside was that in my room, the cell signal as well as the WiFi had a very weak connection. Other than that, the hotel was perfect.
