To many problems with the rooms to mention. We had 7 rooms and each one there were problems
Newly beautifully renovated
It was clean and comfortable
Had a nice two-night stay here as a family of four with two young kids. All the staff we encountered were incredibly friendly and helpful. My kids loved babysitting Bubbles the fish during our stay. The hotel is newly renovated, but the hallways already look worn with paint chipping and dents in the walls. If you look closely, this was not a professionally done renovation. The room was nice, clean, although small, and the beds were really comfortable. It would be helpful to install some sort of armoire/closet in the rooms to hang clothing. Bathroom fixtures are nice but not practical. The shower water gets all over the floor, and the sink faucet is short which causes water to run along the entire counter. So anything you put on the counter above the toilet gets soaked. The shelf under the sink was broken when we came. My kids loved the pool and water slide, and the sauna and steam room were a nice bonus. I am a stickler for cleanliness and was quite disappointed in the cleanliness of the pool area. Lots of dirt on the pool deck and dirt, debris and sand at the bottom of the pool. Green mould between the floor and walls. The pool deck and stairs to the water slide were not cleaned the entire time we were there. There was a used Bandaid by the shallow end that was there for the duration of our stay. The railing to get into the shallow end was loose. This hotel has tons of potential, and I believe they are working to make it better. Overall we had a nice time.
Enjoyed the renovated hotel. Close to the lake, shopping, bakery, coffee, gas station. Hotel was nice, loved the restos there.
Screen door propped up outside unusable, blind broke hanging 1/2 way down bumped my head carrying things in, room very tired, old furniture, my bedding was dirty, staff brought clean sheet that had long black hair on, I had to strip my own bed and put it on, apparently front staff don’t know how to put a top sheet on (really do their mothers still make their bed?) This hotel is way over priced. I’ve stayed at Ramada for 1/2 price of this and Ramada blows this out of water. Food no healthy options. I can’t fault the staff they were very friendly. Paid $290 but it should be $130 max. Don’t recommend. I won’t be back.
I love the place.
We loved the pool and it has a sauna and steam room plus the outdoor hot tub will be ready to use by this fall! The rooms are cute and even has a small fireplace and heated bathroom floors!! They have little surprises for the kids like a fish they get to babysit during your stay. You can just walk over to the beach or to the shops. The area has a golf course, hikes and tennis courts. This place was so great and relaxing that we plan to be back in the fall!
