Travelodge by Wyndham Bakersfield

The rooms are are always clean. The staff here is the best ever. Always willing to help and always courteous. Benny is the best he has been the best receptionist i have ever dealt with. Thank you guys.

The staff was to exceptional.

Rooms need upgrading. Plumbing needs overhauling Dated accommodations Run down facility Worst Travel Lodge I have stayed at.

The room was acceptable for the price. Housekeeping needs to take a little more time on the bathroom. Our shower had mold on the grout lines and really needed a new shower head. I'm not going to be licking the walls, so I didn't really complain. The night deskman was was very pleasant. He fixed the TV and provided towels (because there weren't any). If you are looking for any kind of breakfast in the morning, this absolutely is not the place for you. Walked in to the lobby (because that is where they have it now) to find corn flakes. That's it. Corn flakes. I asked the desk worker if that was seriously what they had for breakfast and, with a straight face, she replied, "it's continental. " No, it's cereal. On Saturday nights, the restaurant nextdoor plays the music very loud until 2am. Overall, we felt safe but we probably won't be staying there again.

It was cheap

The area was sketchy, the staff were unfriendly, the TV didn’t work, even when they replaced the remote.

Nothing

The fact that the room was not finished when we walked in. And that there was a few other guests drinking and partying till 230 am. When I called the desk. The guy that answered the phone was very rude. He said this is a motel what do you want me to do.

Staff were all very helpful and kind. Only notable downside was the proximity of a night club next door that was loud till 2am.
