Great location, friendly staff

Room was getting a bit outdated, garbage truck noise early in the morning

My partner and I loved the room we had. The lounge area was comfortable - Remote was a little hard to use, and the wifi was a tad choppy which caused us some problems, but otherwise, the room met our expectations. Thanks for having us.

Shower and water pressure was spot on.

The heating was not working despite several requests, and the room temperature was always cold. I don't care much about that myself, but I was travelling with my 7-month-old baby. I'll never stay in this hotel, I'm extremely disappointed.

The room we stayed in was lovely. A suite on level 11. Room 1123.

There didn’t seem to be enough staff to cope with breakfast in the restaurant. Food trays were empty for quite some time, and coffee machine was out of milk. We ended up leaving on our third morning without eating our preferred foods. These were simple things like chai pudding, mango smoothie, scrambled eggs, cutlery was empty, juices and water were empty. Also there were plastic wrapper bits, apple sticker and top section of the core of the apple on the carpet between the bed and the window when we arrived, indicating carpet hadn’t been vacuumed properly. Not enough staff on for checkout either, only 2, and one was in priority. People behind us were getting upset with the long wait. Food was pretty average, don’t think I would have worried about booking breakfast there if I’d have known. If you’re a bacon lover, go elsewhere. Also thought I had read that the rooms were soundproof before I booked. It was so noisy. We could hear people yelling from Collins Street, day and night as well as other external noise, and also noise in the corridor was loud during the night. Noise during the night was ok, but a bit too much for when trying to sleep. We were impressed with the bathroom and amenities.

Love everything about this hotel except the TV set up and the weak wifi. Especially love the pool and gym

You can only stream content on the tv by Chromecast and that was buggy. Hence we were unable to watch Netflix etc during our entire stay. In the end we tried to stream on my laptop but the wifi bandwidth prevented that. So we were left with live tv only which really sucked. We expect a better tv set up from such a good hotel. Most hotels provide the apps without needing to Chromecast
