Courtyard by Marriott St. Cloud

The guy was friendly when I checked in.

The beds were not comfortable at all. The night staff yelled at my kid. The Cafe overcharges. The lady at the Cafe had no clue what she was doing. The room was smaller then expected. I will never stay at this location again. It's not worth the money.

Per usual, I was asked to use a card for incidentals upon checking in even though the room was paid for in advance. When I entered my room and read the "welcome card," I discovered that the guest parking was contracted in the adjacent ramp & the $4 nightly fee would be charged to my card as an incidental fee which I found off-putting. I didn't complain because, after all, it's $4. But, still. C'mon! The room, at a glance, all appeared orderly. When I 1st used the toilet I noticed that there was toilet paper in the water. I dismissed it as a simple house keeping oversight during cleaning. The bedroom television never worked properly. Each channel was pixelated & choppy. The living area TV work perfectly so I simply chose to do all my viewing there since I was staying only one night.

I liked the location.

It went very smoothly. Early check-in, free parking (weekend) and very nice room.

Two queen bed rooms should have 8 pillows not 6 and should have 4 bath towels not 3.

Clean and stuff was very helpful.

Parking 🅿️ ramp, small, tight spaces. Worried about people hitting me. Just the whole layout of the ramp and hotel was odd and didn't make sense to me. Why would I pay to walk all around a weird ramp that I cannot easily determine which spots are for the hotel and which are for private spaces, then go back in and out to start over while it's 3 degrees outside. No, not happening again. WIFI not working, as in, not working at all. Unacceptable for anyone much less business travelers. Won't be back here.

Kind of sad that I didn’t have a tub in the room. Wasn’t aware we were getting a handicap accessible room, otherwise the room was very clean and cozy.
