Quality Inn Florida City - Gateway to the Keys

Le petit déjeuner était sympa, couvert en plastique mais cela ne nous a pas déranger, les enfants ont adorer faire leurs gauffres eux même. Pas trop de monde donc c'était appréciable. La piscine chauffée était un plus, les lits assez grands pour mes ados.

L'odeur dans la chambre je ne sais pas si c'est du a la moquette ou autres mais c'était pas tres agréable. La personne a la reception n'était pas souriante du tout on avait l'impression de le déranger.

Emplacement idéal à la sortie des Keys et entrée des Everglades. Petit dej sympa. Le sèche cheveux ne fonctionnait pas dans la salle de bain, Maritza nous en a donné un autre sans problème (il s’avère que c’est un problème de prise salle de bain, pas de sèche cheveux). Mention spéciale au personnel adorable. Encore merci à Nick pour son soutien (émotionnel et logistique!) car notre voiture de loc est tombée en panne sur le parking de l’hôtel.

After reading the reviews I thought this would be a good place to stop over on our way to the Keys. I was very wrong. This is a motel the doors face the parking lot not an interior hallway. The room smelled moldy and the furniture was old and stained. I was very concerned for my safety as the locks did not seem secure and we were on the ground floor. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful.

We liked the location and cordiality of the people at the reception.

The smell in the rooms, it seems our room has been closed for a while leading to a moldy smell. There were no gel shower or shampoo in the shower. Breakfast can be improved, very few options and space is super small and crowded which does not allow to have a peaceful breakfast. The gym is connected to the breakfast room and kitchen and there is no door so no privacy when training. No elevator for the first floor which it is ok but the rest can be certainly improved to match the price. Overall it is ok for a night but certainly things can be improved to match the standards in Florida.
