Comfort Inn Near Kokomo Speedway

Was a nice stay. Very nice

Rude staff. Horrible breakfast and absolutely no housekeeping

I stay there everytime i come to kokomo to visit familly 4 times a year. The main thing I appreciate is the staff. Every time when i get there I have prebooked a room. I always ask the staff to put me on the side with the main highway. They are extremely nice about moving to me to that side. Plus you can't go wrong with the hot breakfast.

Overall a good place to stay.

Breakfast was nice, Staff was friendly and helpful. Pool is not always open. Laundry list of excuses and even started to explain it was my fault for wanting to swim. (I didn't express that we wanted to swim upon check-in) No postings about closings and has a reputation for closing the pool without notice according to the Locals. Small but nice pool. We we're lucky to be able to swim. Just a family traveling and needing a room to fit our budget.

Manager Sara could benefit from proper professional Management Customer Service Training. She made her staff uncomfortable multiple times in front of guests. Conformational and argumentative. Felt sorry for the rest of the staff. They we're truly kind and helpful.

Unfortunately, my stay might of been unique to me, but I don’t want to lie and say my stay was great because the first room I was in smelled of cigarettes and I found a cockroach within the room. The woman at the desk was very nice and change rooms for me. My new room was okay still slightly dirty but my experience from my first room will probably not have me returning

I would have loved to give 5 stars, but i just couldn't. At a 1st glance it was clean and looked nice. Staff were nice, but not overly friendly. When we got to the room i was pleasantly surprised at how nice the room looked, other than the very dated sofa. As the night wore on i was less impressed. The mini-fridge did not work, the heater/air conditioner was impossible to control, and so loud it was extremely annoying. It went off completely after a while and never went back on. The shower pressure was very minimal and the bathroom fan seemed useless. The breakfast was a big disappointment. There was a bit of variety, but everything was either luke warmor cold. All in all it was a nice looking hotel but in serious need of mechanical updating, and maybe a little more effort in the breakfast area.
