B&B Le Clos Saint-Jean - Omaha Beach

Had a lovely time here, the room was immaculate unfortunately the weather was not very good so we could not explore the magnificent garden but it still looked great and was very well looked after. Caroline was so welcoming and provided lovely breakfasts with excellent home made cooking. Highly recommend and a great base for the D-day sightseeing.

It was one of the best places we've stayed at in Europe. Caroline is very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was excellent. Perfect place to stay if you're visiting Omaha Beach or any of the other WWII areas.

Our stay at Le Clos St Jean was wonderful! Caroline and Laurent are friendly and warm, and they take good care of the property and their guests. I was blown away by the beauty of their place. The fresh, warm croissants, pastries, bread, yogurts, cheese, and fruit, along with the local juices and jams, made for a wonderful breakfast. I only wish we would have had more time to spend relaxing in their lovely space. If I find myself in Normandy again, I will definitely have to stay here another night or two!

Dear Caroline, Our stay at your B&B could have not been more wonderful! Thank you for the early check-in. The room was beautiful with such tasteful decor, the quaint country furnishings, comfy bed, modern shower with tons of towels (we did find the Savon de Marseilles at Carrefour). I love the little table and chairs and the tea and coffee settings. And all the windows! Your property was so beautifully landscaped with the roses and hydrangeas. I'm never one to jusi "sit" and enjoy but I easily did it out on the lawnchairs. The parking was able to accomodate our big Toyota 4Runner. Breakfasts was like eating at a four star restaurant with homemade breads, crepes, yougurt and that dessert we had the first morning- incredible! We defeintely plan on returning to this gem bringing bikes next time to visit more of the local area restaurants, beaches and cider farms. You and your husband are an incredible hosts and could not have been sweeter. Merci beaucoup!

What is there not to like about Le Clos. Steps away from Omaha beach. About a mile or two from the American cemetery. D-day history everywhere. A very nice place to stay, quiet, clean and secluded. Fresh homemade pastries in the morning. The only negative is that darn rooster in the morning, which was not their fault. Caroline and her husband did everything to help us on our trip. They gave us maps, information for nice restaurants, and other things to do for the 75th anniversary of D-day. Thank you for a great stay.
