"A great hotel near the University of Illinois campus"

Very welcoming hotel. They notified us when we registered that our original suite was unavailable due to a sudden maintenance issue. They put in extra effort to locate an alternative that worked out well for us. It was evident that this was part of an overall effort to provide guests with outstanding service. Breakfast was above average. The evening "kickback" was actually a light dinner, with up to 3 drinks from the bar. A very relaxing alternative to trying to find a nearby restaurant. Other guests were able to order in food and eat in the dining area, as well.

"Overpriced for the value."

The breakfast was worse than your typical continental breakfast.

There was a very loud noise above my room that went off every hour or so. Like a utility or boiler. It constantly woke me up.

"Wasn’t the best as it usually is / was."

Always clean, and the staff polite.

That the guests are able to walk dogs thru out the hotel. People have allergies and a fear of dogs and shouldn’t have to tip toe around a facility that’s been paid for. Pet owners need a separate entrance/exit.
