Awesome Friendly Owner, Great Room and views. Will definitely go back.

It was a beautiful property - quiet, convenient and clean. The grounds were well maintained and the room was comfortable and clean. The host was friendly and helpful and we loved the homey feel. We will definitely choose to stay here again.

I was bit surprised by the super high ratings for this motel. I found it to be just okay. Bed was pretty comfortable but sheets smelled mildewy. Pilot light on wall heater was making continuous loud, clicking noise which made it hard to sleep. Convenient parking right in front of motel room. Everything in Walker was pretty much shut down for the season so not much to do but Walker Coffee is definitely worth a visit. Scenery is sure pretty in that part of Eastern CA though.

The room was much better than the pictures show. Clean and comfortable.

The property is a quaint cabin style motel with beautiful surrounding views. The property has swings and room to wander around. I did not see one single member of the staff for my entire visit. It was a holiday when i checked in and i was called and given directions on how to find the key to my cabin. I was told to reach out if i needed help. Well i figured it out no problem. What i did have a problem with was there was no cleaning services the entire time i was there. 4 days! Thursday afternoon to Sunday morning. By the time we left the flooring was covered with litterings from outside and there was never any change of sheets or the bed being made. That friday i put do not disturb because if the drive we were tired but saturday we were out most of the day and i placed the green side out to clean up and to my didappointment no one came. Overall the location is pretty but i wasnt impressed with the motel itself.

Nice older motel. Quiet, clean and comfortable. Had a microwave and refrigerator. Pretty quiet since it was the off season. Office staff wasn't well informed about services in the area...he admitted he was new. Very few dining options in the area, but we found a take out place about four miles up the road.

We arrived late and the host got out of bed to check us in. Very much appreciated.

Great little motel in an islated area

This was a great find. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Well furnished. I would stay there again

I will admit, I was a bit skeptical about this place but we booked very late so didn't have a lot of options. As they say, don't judge the book by its cover.. This place has everything you could need for a comfortable one night stay! It was pretty clean and it's in decent shape... One funny thing that happened was the owner's cat got into our room somehow and suddenly jumped on the bed as we were leaving for dinner. They came and got her and we laughed it off but if one of us was allergic, it would have been a bit of an issue.. Overall, I could stay here if we were passing by.
