MOLD MOLD N MOLD. Could smell as soon as I opened door don't ever take room 318. Can even see mold. For 204 dollars. Room was small fudge has standing water in. I have mold at apt msnged dose nothing I should have stayed 204 Couldnt figure how how to turn on hot tub. Front desk lady called owner not my fault he was 3o mins away well he turned drive back came into my over posted smelly musky mold room n said all you had to do was push button Than owner RUDELY said I drive back 30 mins dive for this

"Good but things need fixing"

Overall would stay again. A couple things need fixing.... The dresser the TV was on had trim pieces falling off and more frequent order of milk for breakfast everyone I saw including person working breakfast had found sour milk so quite a few cereals had to be thrown away including one of my kids poured the milk into a cup first the 2nd time.

Jacuzzi suite has a 2 person Jacuzzi tub. 2 of the three controls are missing...totally removed. Drain plug is missing and they use a kitchen drain cover to stop it from draining. The bed you ask?? It is firm...like plywood is firm or concrete is firm.

Overall it was a good stay. It was surprisingly quiet, especially with the room being next to the pool. My only complaint is that the sink was partially clogged and drained very slowly.

Attractive hotel inside and out, comfortable and clean. Breakfast included some hot items and other good choices. Found nice Thai restaurant nearby. We did not use the pool but it seemed to be very popular. We would easily stay there again.

"Great place to stay"

I have stayed at this hotel several times. It is a wonderful pet friendly place in the heart of newton, Iowa. The property is clean, well maintained and the staff is very friendly and helpful. You can walk to many place in the town. It is located right off the square. While I was in Newton visiting I can imagine it as a restful stop for vacationers with parks, unique restaurants and shops.
