Hotel Ashoka

Hotel is 5mins away from North Gate of Rameswaram temple. Staff behaviour is very friendly. Communication is good. No problem faced, we are north Indians. Very big size room with all the amenities. 24 hours check in and check out policy is superb. That means no need for us to wait until 12pm check in. If rooms available they will give the room and after 24 hours check out. Good food . Ample parking space, safe. They give access to rooftop to dry clothes. Only some rooms has balconies.

Cleaning staff are always available in the hotel from 9am to 5pm. They are trying their best to keep the hotel in neat and clean but as per temple policy people need to walk a lot in bare foot , hence it is difficult to keep the corridors and room floor always shining.

Credit card was not accepted as mechine was a problem so forced to pay cash or Gpay, paid gpay.It was not informed in advance. Bes spread was not neat probably it was not changed when other guest check in.

Neatness particularly bed and Towels

Very good location, very close to North Gopuram and Agnitheertham. Clean, tidy and spacious rooms. Huge free car park opposite to the hotel and facilities for drivers. We stayed twice there and will stay again.

Couldn't use credit Card, we end up paying cash. They accept GPay and other UPI but won't be suitable for NRIs and Foreigners. Apart from main reception, staff mainly speak Hindi, not a major issue though. Check out is 11:00 which is very tight if you are planning rituals and sami dahrshan.

Location is near to temple other than this nothing is good about hotel Restra food is average restra owner behave is not good

Location,spacious room.Overall stay was comfortable

Food at Ashoka restaurant has not met expectation. Towels provided could be cleaner ,it was dull looking.
