Quality Inn Mauston I-90

Check inn was quick, staff was friendly. However they don't tell you there is no daily room cleaning, instead its a sign you must look for. I asked the staff and they admitted they don't tell customers and maybe they should. My room opened to the indoor pool, so strong chlorine smell, and everything has spots of rust due to the chlorine. My room had two doors, the key only worked in one, the other needed a new battery. Kids were making a lot of noise (no adults to be found, diving into a 3ft deep pool, and left a mess) in the pool area after 10pm, and staff was not concerned or able to do anything about it. I took care of the issue, with only a small comment the next morning from a parent saying it wasn't necessary to yell at the kids. Not all the lights worked in the room, but other than that the room itself was clean, plenty of hot water.

The room had a moldy or musty smell, I think the air conditioner was the problem.” The smell was bad

The lady at the front desk named Liz, who I think was the manager, was kind enough to waive the security deposit. I didn't have the funds. I was in town for a funeral, and I was a bit panicked about covering the security deposit. It was a big relief. I simply had to promise not to smoke and not have any pets.

Ok hotel for the price

I got in late and wanted to soak in hottub. There were no towels but Amber ran down at 1045PM to give me some. She was very kind

There was no conditioner in the shower bottles, and a small amount of shampoo. Shower was dirty and very small. Room smelled like mildew and was ok for one night, but we will not return to this location. Shirtless people came to breakfast?...not sanitary. Sign saying shoes to be worn into area but nothing about shirts? Broken dispensers replaced with jug of juice...dispointing all around. Will not return to this location.

The location is very convenient for us, and the staff were very nice!

The room was dirty, with stains on the bed, stains on the wall and furniture in the room; lastly, the room smelled moldy.

Best hotel hands down in that price range. And just a little background, I've done 4 road trips. This road trip I've been in 22 states. You can't touch this hotel for that price range.
