Very friendly welcome

Excellent daily cleaning service, changed sheets proactively. Manager upgraded my economy room to 2 beds with en suite because I was a long stay & he thought I would be inconvenienced sharing a bathroom. They also acquired additional breakfast items I requested, the full english is custom order but not very abundant.

Noise from pub below, which was explained in advance, I didn't mind as the room felt snug with private entrance.

A bit ‘rough and ready’ as a pub hotel, but that isn’t a bad thing. Landlady was very nice and I was well looked after. Good breakfast included. Great value.

No food in the hotel directly but I used the SpudKingz place round the corner which was great.

Whilst expectations at this price point should be tempered, the place is pretty tatty and in need of a thorough clean, some redecorating & making good bodged fixes all over the place.

Comfortable, value for money and a very good breakfast

Wifi wasn’t working from the room

I like the fact that it was within easy reach to the reason why i was there

The TV in my initial room was faulty but was swiftly swapped to another room where the worked
