Prince Waikiki

Beautiful, comfortable rooms and view. Love the bathroom layout for multi-use. Thoroughly enjoyed the convenience of Club Level dining. There was a nice daily selection with attentive concierge. Valets were exceptional especially Hermie! Remembered is and greeted us by name daily. Enjoyed the splurge of the Seafood & Prime Buffet!

Room level hallways were hot and stuffy. Issues with elevators not working at times. Had 4 people in the room and needed to reach out with to housekeeping with reminders to bring 4 sets of towels. Housekeeping kept turning up the temperature in the room from what we set it at. Workers noisily sanding the deck during our one pool day was annoying. Poolside drinks could have included alcohol for the price.

The room was spacious with all the necessary amenities, and the ocean view from our 21st floor room was awesomely beautiful. We watched the sun setting while sipping on the complimentary champagne that was delivered to our room to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary; and later, we watched the neighboring hotel's fireworks display which was icing on the cake. Loved it! We were very pleased with our one-night stay at the Prince Waikiki.

Although we enjoyed the food at the 100 Sails Restaurant, we were disappointed with the casual ambience of this high-end hotel. For example, no tablecloth, and although it was a buffet style dinner, the wait staff was almost invisible in our area. Also, for our overnight stay, we were charged $50 for a self-park stall. We did not know or expect to be charged this exorbitant amount.

Modern, good view, spacious, close to the shopping mall, nice sushi restaurant. I spent good amount of time within the hotel, so it is quite relax.

It is not very close to Waikiki beach, however there are other beaches nearby. Elevator is a little bit old.
