Double M

Close to airport. Nikos was so friendly and helpful. He set up great airpirt transport and even helped us carry all our bags up and down the stairs. Bottled water was ready for us, clean property, and great places walkable for dinner. Would highly recommend.

My overnight stay was for a flight from Athens to Dublin from one of the islands. Nikolai, the owner, collected and returned me to the airport. The accommodation was excellent, clean and I even had my own outdoor space to enjoy a coffee. It is within 50 meters of restaurants. The owner was very helpful and friendly.

Our stay at Double M was good because they were responsive to issues. Another couple in our party arrived first and realized one of the rooms had a bad smell, Double M immediately cleaned and by the time I got there it was pristine in smell and cleanliness. Another day the air conditioner would not turn on, they were unable to fix it but provided a fan for that room. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The room was spacious and included a small couch. The bathroom is a wet bathroom (no door on the shower) which Americans (like us) are not use to, but it wasn't an issue. We came to Athens to see the sights and this hotel was a great location. We were able to walk to all the sights we wanted to see and had breakfast less that .25 miles away within view of the Acropolis!! Really a fantastic location. Double M also watched our bags for us after we checked out but still wanted to do some sight seeing before heading to our flight. I would definitely stay with them again.

Great hotel for an overnight at ATH. Niko was a great host. Not much in the area, but recommend for transit.

My husband & I had a great experience here at the Double M! The hotel itself was very clean and spacious provided all amenities as described. Nikos & Electra were amazing! They were easy to communicate with, answered all questions offered suggestions/advice, & offered to help with transportation which we were so grateful for. We would definitely recommend & hope to stay again in the future!

The bathroom was not clean, but the sheets were. During the night someone tried to enter our room which was terrifying. Overall I would not stay again, however they did provide reasonably priced transportation to the airport and from the port of Piraeus

We stayed here for a night as we had a late night arrival into Athens and early morning flight out. We had reserved a taxi from the host as well, so the pickup and drop off from the airport was very convenient. A clean apartment and close to ATH Airport was what we were looking for and this met our needs perfectly.

Walk a few minutes and eat delicious and very inexpensive at Corso Como, and then walk 30 feet and get ice cream and gelato dessert at Sugar Pop. Soooooooo good and inexpensive.

Nikos is so nice and helpful. He picked us up from the airport at 1am and continued to drive us each day whenever we needed (including 4:30am for our flight out). GREAT water pressure in the shower. The nearby restaurant had some of the best food we found in Greece. The nearest train station (Koropi) is about 40 minutes from Syntagma (where you want to go) and the fare is about four euros round trip. The train labeled “Metro” is what you’re looking for and has airplanes on the windows - other trains do not go the full distance. Would stay here again.
