Pun corner homestay

The hostess was extremely helpful. She helped me organise a snorkeling tour, a pickup form and to the port. I could rent a bike and a scooter from them, and make laundry at the homestay. She also makes a nice coffee that you can order for 20 dong 😁 I had a little accident one day right at the moment when I was arriving to the homestay which made me lose a lot of blood. I asked for help and the landlady was very calm, efficient and fast in helping me. She helped me disinfect the wound and put a band-aid on it. I was a bit scared, so her help and her calm were really priceless! Thank you :)

There is artificial light all night that you can see from your window. The curtains don't cover it well, so you don't really get darkness at night. Also the roosters will wake you up very early every night.

we had a nice stay. Phuoc and her family are lovely. She gave us only good advice for restaurants and places to visit on the island. every day they offered us small gifts like: a basket of fruit, water or a traditional dish of the Tet festival. the room is spacious and clean. a little off-center which was perfect for us. possibility of renting scooters. we were in difficulty on our departure route, Phuoc gave us all the options to be able to take the best solution. I really recommend taking a room there and I will come back without hesitation.

The host family were very friendly, helpful and flexible. The home was basic but comfortable and clean. Perfect if you just needed somewhere to sleep. Well worth it for the price. The scooter rentals were also very cheap.

The common kitchen area could be a bit cleaner.

Super friendly family who was very trustworthy and helpful. They even gave us homemade food twice, so kind! 💖 The location was great, too - a little outside of town. We stayed for 10 days, and it was never a problem when we wanted to stay longer.

I slept in room C2. The room is very clean, neat and cozy. The lighting is good and strong so reading at night is no problem. The AC is very silent. Room C2 is removed from the main road so it is comfortably quiet, day and night. The bed is comfortably hard and solid. The host family is friendly and accommodating and the helpful daughter speaks English. All my questions that I had before arrival were answered promptly in a very friendly way. The host organized my airport pick up for 50000 and rented a scooter for a fair 100000 per day. The room rate is also of good value , taking into consideration the comfort, peace and quiet.

The sounds of the Geckos woke me up several times during the night. The AC takes a while to cool down the room as it has a very high ceiling. The location is far away from the city so a scooter was essential. Hot water in the shower would be a plus.

Really grateful to the friendly and respectable hosts. I was staying at a nice and comfortable two-storey room, well-equipped with everything needed. I enjoyed the chances of riding a bike and a motobike given to me by hosts for free; I was also provided with thorough recommendations for exploring the island and supported with taxi order whenever I needed that. Thanks!

We loved the “remoteness” of Pun Corner, a few kilometers from the center. As we came for hiking it was perfect because the National park is just above at a walking distance. The homestay propose very good prices on scooters (100k for 24h) which allowed us to visit around the island in full autonomy. Finally the couple running the place is lovely and is doing everything to help you and make you stay perfect.

stairs to the duplex (second bed) are a bit small. the entrance of the cemetery is closed vue to works on this side of the island. but will be open back I guess
