Very calm and peaceful after a busy vacation

A short ride from the airport, this property is situated down a long driveway so feels private. Our room was spacious and clean with all the amenities including coffee/tea making facilities and fresh milk. The bathroom is large and well equipped with a rain head shower and a separate bath. There was also a flannel which I think necessary when using shower gel but not many properties have one. It's just a shame that we only had one night here.

Excellent stay. Beds are comfortable and staff is friendly. Room was next to elevator, but no noises in room. Great stay.

Great staff and location

Our recent stay at the Norton House Hotel & Spa, from July 16th to 20th, traveling all the way from Canada, was nothing short of exceptional, and several key aspects truly stood out, making it an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was truly great. The staff consistently went above and beyond, demonstrating genuine warmth and efficiency. Whether it was the front desk team, the restaurant servers, or the spa attendants, every interaction was met with a helpful attitude and a welcoming smile. Their attentiveness made us feel genuinely valued and ensured our stay was seamless and relaxing. Our room, located in the west wing, was a haven of comfort and tranquility. It was impeccably clean and thoughtfully appointed, offering a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring. The historic charm of the building blended seamlessly with modern amenities, creating a sophisticated yet comfortable atmosphere. The food throughout our stay was absolutely top-notch. Every meal, from the exquisite breakfast spread to the delectable dinners, was a culinary delight. The quality of the ingredients was evident, and the dishes were prepared with precision and flair. The property was a way out from Edinburg but easily accessible from the Tram at Ingliston park and Ride. The hotel offers a shuttle to the tram at specific times. The hotel is very nice with a beautiful spa and the staff was extremely accommodating.

Room was very clean and spacious, had a flight cancellation and they were very accommodating with the last minute reservation and changing morning flight.

The porter helped us with our bags and wouldn’t accept a tip. Staff was friendly and food was very good at bkfsst
