Norton House Hotel & Spa

While our stay was overall good, our initial room presented a few inconveniences that required us to move. The air conditioning unit was disruptively noisy, and we were concerned to learn from maintenance that this was a pre-existing issue, raising questions about why we were allocated this specific room. In addition to the AC, this first room also had a non-functional bathroom TV and the wall outside the bathroom showed signs of wear. Despite these initial issues, we were consistently impressed by the friendly and professional demeanour of the hotel staff.

I arrived late from the airport and was greeted by friendly reception staff and even had someone help deliver my suitcase to my room. The room was a good size, very comfortable and had higher end additions such as fresh milk in the fridge and lovely bathroom products. The spa was great. So nice to start the next morning with a swim followed by a tasty breakfast. There was a great menu to choose from. Loved my stay and wish it could have been longer!

Excellent stay, staff all very friendly and good was excellent too. Pool was a bit too cold for our son and overall better for a couples night away.

Fantastic stay from start to finish. Arrived early an room was ready. Spa is stunning an very relaxing as was our whole stay.

I loved everything about this place! The staff was excellent, the onsite restaurant was superb, and it was really close to the airport. Getting to the city activities took 30 minutes, but I'd take the peace and quiet here over being in the middle of everything, anytime. My only regret is that I didn’t get to take advantage of the Spa services. I plan to go back to Scotland next year and I will be staying at Norton House.

We got in late and left early but the location was very convenient near the airport. The grounds looked lovely and the staff were very friendly.

From the time we arrived we found all staff friendly efficent and very helpful . would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Wonderful place snuggled in the woods but close to the city any the airport. We got massages and the girl that did my fiance's was absolutely extravagant. Food is a bit pricey but well worth it. The room was great. Has a heated floor and a TV in the bath tub. The shower wasn't totally good but it did the job. The weekend breakfast was great except for the haggis. It was mushy like a porridge. The weekday breakfast is ordered off of a menu and it was pretty good. The misses is lactose intolerant and they had soy milk in the fridge waiting for us in the room. However, it had gone bad and the one they brought up to replace it was also bad. We had a great time. We are locals so we will probably be back. If not to stay, for a massage and the rest of the spa.

Wonderful hotel near the airport. Staff very friendly and the dining area and menus were wonderful and service was excellent. Would stay here again
