Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, San Diego North, CA

The staff was friendly in the facility was very clean. The problem was the bed was old and sagged, and the blankets were scratchy. Just had the feeling of an older Hotel.

Average property . Area around it is nice and good connectivity . Breakfast is basic and closes early ( sharp 9:30 ) .

The good: -The room was quiet. Stayed two nights and heard no loud or disrupting noises and was able to sleep peacefully. -The included breakfast was fine and the seating area mostly clean. -Had probably one of the best burgers from the Bar & Grill on the main floor so no complaints there. -Check-in was smooth and all my interactions with the front desk and other staff was very polite and pleasant. -Hotel is located in a nice and quiet area - always felt safe. The bad: -The room itself was in dire need of some TLC. The floor had several stains -There was a strong musty/mildewy odor in the room - never got used to it. -Much of the other furniture (desk, sofa, closet) all had obvious signs of wear and the sofa also had some stains -The bathroom wasn’t terrible, but the shower head was detached from the wall. -TV/remote were a little dated and entertainment selection was standard local channels with a few other like Discovery, History, E!, etc. Overall, I’d give my stay a solid 2 of 5 stars. Food 5 of 5. Not likely to stay here again, but would if it was the only option.

Clean room friendly staff

We stayed for three nights, and on the first night, new towels were provided, the bed was made, and the bathroom was lightly cleaned, but on the second night, the bathroom trash was not collected. On the last day, we were supposed to be able to use the room until 12:00 PM, but when we returned from breakfast, the cleaning staff had entered our room without permission and was cleaning for the next guest, throwing away a food we had left behind. I have stayed in many hotels, but this was the first time I have experienced such an insulting experience. What's more, the cleaning staff did not even try to apologize. It was around 9:00 AM. I felt like I had been kicked out of the hotel. I decided to stay because of the good reviews, but I don't want other guests to have the same experience, so I don't recommend it.

Perfect

Bed was awful. Slept terrible due to the bed and thin walls. I could hear my neighbor snoring both nights.

No tissue, cleaning people came earlier than check out time.

Front desk staffs did not response on to an urgent need of bathroom issue. Broken showerhead splashed water all over the bathroom. It took more than 6 hrs and more than 3 phone calls, in person notification in the daytime(Monday) to fix the problem.
