"Great Hampton Inn close to Harrisburg and Hershey"

Stayed here while visiting Hershey Park which is about 20 miles away. Hotel was clean and staff were pleasant. Keira at Front Desk was very nice and helpful at check in. Our room was clean and beds were comfortable. Room temperature was easy to control. Bathroom was a little smaller than some hotel bathrooms and shower was not as powerful as some . Bathroom was clean and had adequate towels. I would recommend an extra grab bar outside of the shower. Breakfast buffet was great and had many choices. Great omelets, waffles and granola. They did have a pool but it was outdoors. Parking lot was decent size and you could park close to the hotel. Would gladly stay here again if in the area. If you stay here you are close to Harrisburg and also 20-25 minute drive to Hershey Park. You will save money staying in this area as opposed to Hershey!

"Definitely not sound-proofed rooms."

Stayed in Hampton Inns on our road trip there and back. This one we had to wait about 10 minutes for an employee to arrive at the front desk (it was about 8pm on our arrival). Once in our room we had the lights out by 9:30pm. At about 11pm our neighbour arrived to his room. Although he was talking in a usual volume we could hear every word (and it was unsettling; he was pressing charges against someone who had pulled a firearm on him in the parking lot - so he was talking to an officer). Could also hear him pee. Not much sleep went on in our room as a result.
