Scandic Svolvær

A bit disappointed of weather. But over all stay at hotel is excellent and good location.

Everyone who works there is ao friendly and helpful. The room was nice and the breakfast buffet was outstanding. Our ferry was canceled and they let us check back into our room until we could make other transportation arrangements.

Old, weird smell in room, bathroom toiletries weren’t stocked (empty bottles in shower). Close to airport though. Only benefit. Already have our last night booked here before we fly out in another week or so. Hoping for better then.

Weather was really bad (raining and windy), then it was snowing. Amazing the lighthouse and view from the mountain (trails).

Great location on the harbor just steps from the main street. Rooms a little small.

Great service, great food and a good view. I was placed in the old part of the hotel so it was not state of the art, but okei. Overall happy with my stay, and the staff was amazing.

Good location in the center of Svolvaer. Plus, good views from the rooms.

The location was great, and so was the staff and the restaurant. I honestly would have given this a great rating but it looked like the only cleaning done to the room was making the bed. The photos on the wall were falling off, the coffee mugs were used (and empty tea was torn open and not replaced), and there was a lot of hair and dirt in the bathroom. If they clean better it’d be great!

We stayed here for 2 nights during our recent visit to Lofoten. The hotel is located right on the water and rooms are comfortable. We got the room on ground floor right next to the entrance door which was bit on inconvenience at night with people walking in/out but overall the stay was great. The breakfast offered by the hotel was also fantastic.

Hotel location is perfect. The room is comfortable, clean and nice. Friendly staff and delicious breakfast.
