Villa Moderne Motel

It was quiet & clean , They let us check in early , nice since we drove 200 miles ! you need to ask for supply’s like coffee mugs & filters ! Toilet paper, but we got some !

Spacious and quaint

Sheets have stains on them. Rooms smell like piss and socks… the owner goes to sleep & locks the checkin cabin & says “call this number if you need anything.” You call it 5 times and get no answer. For how expensive this place is, go get a real hotel that you trust for the $50 more

What. A. Dump. The mold will kill you if the lumpy old beds don't.

Enjoyable stay! Clean room and friendly, accommodating staff.

This place is old and needs to be painted and updated. The one staff member I met when checking in was nice but the place is very disappointing. In fact, I did not sit on the couch as it did not look clean. I like Charlevoix and hope to return this fall but not sure where to stay.

Everything was as cheap as possible cutting corners in every way. The cost didn't make sense for what we received. The cheapest possible coffee in a can with a remote control that was missing a battery mismatched towels and sheets, missing shampoo. The carpet was thin cheap industrial grade. For what we got I would have expected it to be 70 or 80 bucks not $130

Stayed in apartment 3. The room was not worth the $200/night fee BUT it was the only thing available in town when everything else is $500/night. Airport is close by so you will see and hear some cool old private planes. The shower sucks but I had hot water. The sheets were clean enough… very old and out dated. If you’re a young dude like me you will be fine; if your trying to bring your gf or family don’t do it.

This property is old but clean and fine. I wouldn’t stay here for my honeymoon but for a casual trip it was just fine. No complaints except that the air conditioner was very loud when turned up. So we just opened the windows.
