Car parking was easy. Very friendly staff and room very clean and comfortable beds. Food purchased in restaurant was very good with excellent service and unhurried time to relax and take in the surroundings,

I had a fantastic stay at the Coach and Horses in Worthing while travelling for work. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly warm, friendly, and attentive—they genuinely made me feel like a valued guest rather than just another booking. One thing that really stood out was how accommodating they were with my strict gluten-free diet. Although they already had some gluten-free options available, they went above and beyond by sourcing gluten-free cereal specifically for my breakfast, which was such a thoughtful touch and greatly appreciated. I also had dinner in the pub one evening and chose the jerk burger—it was absolutely amazing, full of flavour, and easily one of the highlights of my stay. Check-in and check-out were both quick and hassle-free. On my last day, I had an early train and expected to miss breakfast, but the staff kindly prepared a gluten-free bacon sandwich for me to take away. That level of care and attention really made a lasting impression. Overall, I couldn’t recommend this place more highly. A welcoming atmosphere, excellent food, and truly exceptional service!

Housekeeping entered our room without permission.. normally there is a do not disturb sign - we went out for the day and came back to find out it has been cleaned (which was lovely) but it’s unusual to enter in most hotels without permission. It’s a big no no round the world.
