Guilin Bonjour Boutique Hotel- Free pick up service over 3 nights

We liked everything! The hotel is in an ancient village of Lujiacun, a bit far from the city centre but provides a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere for guests to relax in after a busy day of exploring. Starting from our arrival all the way to our reluctant departure, hotel staff treated us like VIPs. Maggie was waiting for us at the roadside, with umbrellas since it was drizzling a bit, and walked with us to the hotel. She helped carry our heavy backpacks up (no elevators) to our second floor room as well, which was much appreciated. A fruit platter and tea was served as a welcome treat. We enjoyed the various breakfast options offered, which was made fresh, every morning. Hai-Yan, the other lady whom we met as well, gave us pointers on sites to visit. She walked with us to the beginning of a walking trail to Reed Flute Caves to ensure that we embarked on the right trail for the walk. Everything we needed, they tried their best to help. We would definitely recommend this hotel for a very relaxing stay. It is very quiet at night, and close by is a restaurant where one can try local dishes. Also small street eateries are available around the village during the day. It is a bit far from the city center but a taxi ride will get you there in 15 minutes. Staff can arrange taxi or any excursion for their guests as well.

The property is very big and it’s nice and clean. We really liked the two lady that served us. Half way through our vacation, one of us got food poisoning from a different restaurant in Guilin and they nursed us up to good health through diligently serving us foods that could eat even though it was out of the way for them. For that alone it’s a 10 stars 🤩 so if we could, we would give an even higher rating.

The breakfast

Extremly helpful and caring staff (Maggie, Helene). They satisfied every wish we had and helped with tourist excursion planing. They prepared a very delicious and fresh breakfast every morning while being up for a chat during. Spacious, clean modern rooms with a good view.

This is a very modern and contemporary boutique hotel in a historic village located in the outskirts of Guilin. The staff, amenities, facility, decor, and food were all impeccable! Everyone was super friendly and went above and beyond to make our trip extra enjoyable and memorable. We can’t wait to return to Guilin again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to experience Guilin without the hustle and bustle of the city life. It’s affordable and easily accessible by taxi to any parts of the city. Also a short walkable distance to the reed flute cave, which is a must visit in Guilin as well.

Concept hôtel boutique très bien realisé. Personnel extrêmement accueillant et vraiment aux petits soins. Nous ont aidés à commander un repas lors de notre arrivée tardive, proposition d'excursion et massages chinois ! .

Wi Fi pas toujours très performant dans les chambres mais de bonne qualité à la réception et au coin peut déjeuner.

Superb service from great hospitating staff. They always support on any needs and serve free extras like fresh fruits and tee.the rooms are clean and cosy. We even received an upgrade as the larger room with a bathtube was nood booked, amazing. The breakfast was done with passion, and if you need anything else, the staff try to fulfil them. For any trips they support on organizing and prebooking. It was a great value for the money.

We didnt miss anything

Helen was amazing. Simply put she made the whole trip for us so enjoyable. Her recommendations of where to visit were great. We arrived hungry and she whipped up waffles for us. Thanks Helen for taking care of us!

Nothing really. The stay was very comfortable. We had the whole top floor to ourselves. I thought the two bedroom unit with living room was a big two story unit but basically it was three bedrooms on the top floor. We didn't use much of the living room since it was a separate unit so actually booking of two rooms would have suffice.
