The room was clean enough. It was very small with all the furniture packed very tightly in it. The sofa sunk down and the TV did not work. The manager came in and had to unplug the TV unplugged it back in. He said they were doing work on the wiring in the building. He offered to have his maintenance man come in and look at it. It never happened. The next night, a marijuana smell came up through my bathroom and I could smell it coming into the room as I was trying to get to sleep. I called the woman at the front desk and told her. I said it may be coming from across the hall as I smelled it in the stairwell earlier in the day. She knocked on the door and did not follow up with me. She left for her shift and the smell got worse. I called the front desk again with the night shift manager. He came in and verified the smell in my room. He apologized for it. I was going to leave; but he encouraged me to stay and said that he would ask his manager to give me a refund. The next day I complained to the same woman who had checked on the marijuana smell before. She told me that there was nothing she could do because marijuana was legal in the state now. I asked her if the building was a non-smoking building. She said yes, and continued to say that marijuana was legal and she could do nothing about it. I decided to check out and did not stay the third day. I would never stay at this hotel again. The customer service is subpar to say the least and that they would support marijuana smokers to non-smokers is a huge red flag. This tells you a lot about their clientele.
