Echo Sails Motel

Location was right in front of the beach just 2 min walk

It was a motel of course they need to update everything. It’s a very old hotel toilet was clean, which was great, but there was no good hot, running water and a leak in the kitchen sink faucet and also a problem with the bathroom faucet. It wouldn’t turn off for a while and the hot water took a long time for it to heat up. There was no heat in the room. There was no AC in the room. In fact as soon as we checked in the front desk guy came in with the heater right away, telling us that nothing is working in there. The beds were broken so we didn’t have a comfortable stay. The price should’ve been at least only $70 I believe at the most

The office attendant, PJ was very sweet and accommodating. He took the time to show me how the TV, heater and AC worked and even walked us to show us the fastest way to get to the beach. The room was clean, pillows were fluffy room was nice and large. Perfect location, and quiet which i missed after we moved to a different hotel on the water.

It is C 3-5 degree. Only one thin blank provided. Super cold whole night. Sheet not very clean. Shower not much water

If you like location to beach/pier and no frills, this a good budget motel. PJ was very nice and the accommodations were fine for what we paid. The pier was less than a 10 minute walk, as well as many restaurants and shops, so that can't be beat! Worth it for a night!

Our only real complaint is that our room was right next to a club that played VERY LOUD music until 3am. We had to sleep in the living room instead of the bedroom due to the air conditioner helping drown out some of the sound. There is no ice available and you'll need your own shampoo for showering. We also had issues with the tv...thinking the remote may have needed batteries. I would ask to be placed in a room away from the club if I were to stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! It’s very close to the beach, and there are plenty of restaurants and a Starbucks nearby. The room was clean, the bed very comfortable, and the bedding was new. The staff welcomed us warmly and allowed us to check in earlier than the scheduled time, treating us like family. The same kindness continued at check-out — our flight was in the evening, and since there were no other guests after us, we were allowed to use the room until we left. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone
