Very convenient easy to get to

Lovely hotel and always stay there when down. Service is exemplary and rooms in very good condition. Unfortunately certain rooms face the side street with bright lights and neon shop signs and the room blinds do not block this out. Also a very windy night sees the windows rattle all night.

Amazing location and hotel accommodation was fabulous.

Tiny room, barely room between double bed and either wall. Advertised as a king bed and room wasn’t one of any shown online. Asked reception in the morning and advised I “clicked happy” and they had better rooms! Yet only one advertised? Wouldn’t stay again.

Fabulous hotel, beautiful room with excellent facilities. Public area beautiful with a vibrant lively Bar/restaurant. Food was excellent and all the staff were super friendly and efficient. Best hotel I’ve stayed at this year. Highly recommend.

The room was pleasantly designed, though offering little space on one side of the bed for a second person to shuffle through to the bathroom at night. Mean little glass teacups were on offer for morning tea/coffee - go anywhere else these days and full-size mugs are “de rigeur!” Who wants to go to and fro from the bed to top up the finicky little dainty teacups! Not modern travellers! We chose to eat dinner at SEAGATE. The dishes were tasty & nicely presented but way over-priced, especially the lentil and squash recipe. Only a handful of diners were in (it was a Wednesday) and staff were dressed very casually and exhibited behaviour to match - jokily calling out personal conversations between kitchen staff to serving staff across the length and breadth of the rooms in which expensively paying guests were dining. The managers were apparently away visiting their home/family. Individually the staff on duty were personable and very relaxed …. but it was all too casual, and very unprofessional.

Room fantastic, manager was super nice on checking in and showing us to our room. Food was slightly disappointing.

Good location and friendly staff. Food very expensive for the quality which was ordinary pub grub.
