Surfari Punta Rocas

We really liked the laid back atmosphere and friendly staff. We were the only people there for most of our stay but it was chilled and a good atmosphere. We were in a private room and the air conditioning was great. The food is good and great value- loved the breakfast pancakes. It is slightly out of the way of shops/other restaurants but Punta Hermosa is a short taxi ride and we got Ubers there. We booked a surf lesson through the hostel and our instructor had limited English and we had limited Spanish which made things difficult- we were told afterwards that bilingual instructors are available in Punta Hermosa so unsure why this happened- maybe specify bilingual instructor when booking.

Friendly staff and very close to the beach

No sound insulation in the bedrooms due them being in shipping containers. Not very clean and very loud music was playing until 1am on Friday night. The food is plentiful but there are no healthy dinner options. The area is very quiet at night so it didn’t feel very safe to walk around after dark.

The hostel itself is nice and the staff is nice.

because of the name I assumed it's possible to surf in the town. But for surfing you have to get a bus to the nearby towns which aren't far but you still have to leave.

The girl at the reception was realy nice and helpful

The cleaning lady was very rude and unpolite and gave us a hard time!
