Contemplacion Resort & Spa

We enjoyed a clean, quiet, comfortable, and modern cabin in a pretty hillside garden setting. The staff was very kind and accommodating, and the restaurant was terrific (best "concha" baked sweet bread I have had anywhere). There are other excellent restaurants and great wineries in the area. The resort is in an area off the main highway that is accessed by dirt roads. We had no problem getting there in a Toyota Camry, but if you have something more rugged--even a minivan--that is better, of course. But this advice even applies to paved roads in Mexico, with their many potholes and speed bumps. We highly recommend Contemplacion Resort & Spa.

Had a wonderful stay at Contemplacion Hotel. Check in & check out was quick & easy. Room & bathroom was spacious, clean & bright. The room had a small kitchenette, which was very convenient. The Samsara spa was amazing! The Salvia Blanca restaurant was fabulous - great food, ambience & excellent service.

Excellent place!!!

This is the second time we stay at this hotel. It was a nice stay, as usual. Last time we were here, they were building the pool, gym and SPA, which we had the chance to experience this time. We did a couple's massage for 50', and staff was very professional and did a great job! The pool was warm, and the jacuzzi was very nice too. The gym seemed a little old/outdated for only being 2-3 years old. We stayed at the exact same room as last time. We love how big and spacious it is. It has a living-room with a sofa-bed, a dining-room area with a small kitchen. And a loft with a Queen size bed and a nice bathroom with a shower and a bathtub. Another plus, is the parking next to the room, and the breakfast that was included in our stay.

I would say the room had a few things that made it feel neglected and for the nightly price, I would have expected a little more; glasses provided in the room were full of dust, we had to wash them before using. The cleaners left 2 paper bags underneath the kitchen with trash inside (2 empty yogurts). The room sign at the entrance of the room was falling (we put it back properly on the wall.) Just little details, but would be nice to have them improved.

The property is nice. I didn’t care for the actual stay they were under construction and the pool area/gym closed at 9pm.

The entire place was amazing. Great place to rest and relax. The spa was the best part. It can add to the expense, but totally worth it. I would be coming here again during peak season in August.

My wife and I spend our honeymoon happy, Beds, amazing to sleep, pillows, Shower, The small fridge, I love the drinks, a variety of snacks, nice area at the top of the view #3 amazing view and fireplace at night. Restaurant the waiters, the music was nice experience to enjoy and relax thank you all for making a memorable experience trip.
