Riverside Holiday Home

Our host waited for us and showed us the apartment which was very well equipped. We enjoyed staying there.

The views from the kitchen are spectacular! I loved reading my book and tanning on the huge balcony, having a couple drinks in the evening while the pink clouds from the sunset in the west spread across the sky overhead, and star gazing at night was also a highlight. Rajesh’s friend owns a restaurant just a couple minutes walk up the road, serving incredible traditional Mauritian food as well (extremely good value too!) so don’t forget to check it out. I highly recommend this property - the bed is the most comfortable and the air condition is a treat. There’s also some food for breakfast included.

Overlooking Grand river Sud, near the ferry to go to Ile Aux Cerfs. Local neighbourhood close location to Eastern Mauritius beaches as it is just half an hour away from Ile Aux Cerfs. Property was very clean, people managing it were awesome. Kitchen was well stocked and also there was a washing machine.

I like Everything about this place. River front view, watching boat come by, excellent and well equipped kitchen (even cooking oil and spices), huge semi private deck, with lounge chairs for outdoor relaxation, private the quite bedroom, everything I possibly need for a vacation stay is there. More importantly, the hosts are super nice and always want to help, they provided me with cold juice upon arrival (felt sooo good in a hot/humid day), and fresh baked bread in the morning. They are also very good in communication, timely and clearly. This is by far the best place I stayed in the two week of travel. I strongly recommend this place.

Wish I could stay longer

Very nice owner, he was always available and responded very quickly. He even drove to the supermarket and bought us some yoghurt for breakfast.

Super clean and comfortable. Has a nice modern touch to it. View is beautiful. This property organised by far the cheapest boat ride to ile aux cerf and had a blast of our time.

Super friendly and welcoming hosts. Lovely terrace for relaxing after a day of touring. Comfortable apartment.

Early wake up call from a nearby mosque

Rajesh and his family are the kindest and most helpful people you can meet and we will be staying in contact. He met us from the airport with the most welcoming smile of friendship, and drove us in our hire care back to our apartment. The place was clean and well stocked with everything from breakfast essentials to washing machine, hairdryer and t.v. Beautifully redecorated since we last stayed, and a lovely view of the river. Rajesh sorted out our trip to ile aux cerfs for us and to see the waterfall with no problems. We will be back as soon as we can. 10/10 to a fantastic family and place to stay
