Trulli Antica Fonte

Ein altes Trullo, die typische bäuerliche Architektur Albarobello's in eine schöne Gästerunterkunft umgebaut. Natürlich bietet ein Trullo nicht extrem viel Gestaltungsfreiraum was die einzelnen Räumlichkeiten anbelangt - niedrige Türen, kleine Zimmer, Bad und WC wie es ich gerade ausgeht - aber das alles mindert nicht die Qualität und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Es ist ist schlicht und einfach beeindruckend hier zu wohnen.

Das einzige: der Besitzer sollte in der Beschreibung klarmachen, dass es unmöglich ist vor 14 anzukommen um mal das Gepäck zu deponieren, um dann später das Trullo zu beziehen. Ganz einfach deshalb, weil das Trullo nicht ausreichend Platz hat Koffer ausserhalb des Trullos sicher zu deponieren - es ist alles für die Unterkunft selbst ausgereizt (aber netterweise fand man einen Kompromiss).

It was appealing to stay in a Trulli, and we loved the town of Alberobello. The outdoor space might have been nice if we'd been there in other weather and taken advantage of it. The breakfast voucher at a nearby cafe was delicious food and a great value. The proprietor reluctantly agreed to some flexibility on our behalf, since we hadn't been able to reach him in enough time to make alternative arrangements, and we appreciated that resolution.

First, be aware that the proprietor doesn't monitor booking.com messages. With no responses and no check in instructions until the day before our arrival, we worried the booking was a scam (since we encountered others here on booking.com, who does not take them down even when they're notified!) We spent far too much time chasing him down, then making alternative accommodations so we wouldn't be stranded with our family. By the time we finally heard from him, he was quite rude. In his defense though he may have found us rude, given how upset we were by then. He did finally help us with our arrangements, but reluctantly. The space itself was skanky, and it's a stretch to say it has three separate bedrooms. There are two bedrooms and a kitchenette with a fold-out sofa (which was torn and stained).

Lovely traditional property. Nice location. Owner was very friendly and helpful. Property was clean and had everything we needed.

Nothing. It was all good.

Fajne przeżycie, trochę jak w skansenie:) kawałek spacerkiem do miasta truli:) pyszne śniadanie w barze niedaleko.
