Quaint room, tastefully decorated, with enough space to store clothing and suitcases without bumping into stuff. Clean room. Bed especially with its white sheets, pillows, and comforter blanket appeared very crisp and clean. Associates were very amiable and welcoming. They heard us pulling our suitcases on the cobblestone road and opened the back door for us to enter the hotel. They even helped carry our suitcases, unexpected but lovely. Quiet room, my room faced the road and town not the train tracks, which might have been a contributing factor. It's a small town, so everything's very close. Nevertheless, the hotel was especially close to the river and park, so my parents enjoyed getting up early and walking around the neighborhood and the park. Breakfast was lovely, with lots of options for bread, meat/fish, cheese, etc. They set up a table with your name on it, so it felt like a very customized service and attention to detail. All in all, lovely stay in a small town by the Rhine. Come to the hotel and relax and slow down.

Not applicable. If I had to pick one thing, I am not a fan of the German windows because no mesh netting means that bugs might come through an open window, but these windows are not unique to the hotel. They are all over Germany. But be aware of leaving your windows open too long; there were small gnat like insects outside due to the warm weather and due to the vicinity of the river. Again, this is NOT a complaint about this particular hotel, just advice for travelers.
