The area is excellent! You’re literally steps away from the beach. Rooms are super clean!!! But the rooms are a bit outdated. The hotel itself is really cute.

"Chill out in San Diego and stay at 'PB Surf Beachside Inn'"

I visit San Diego annually to have fun at the ocean and escape Arizona's extreme temperatures. My hotel has always been 'PB Surf Beachside Inn' for the last 15 years or more. I always know what to expect and feel comfortable staying there. I have never been disappointed. The rooms are nice and clean. The staff is wonderful and very accommodating. Marlene and Karla at the front desk are amazing and they made my experience pleasant. There is so much to do..rent a bike, shop, beach fun (half block from the ocean), long walks and so many restaurants to choose from. I totally recommend 'PB Surf' in San Diego to have fun and chill out!

The location can't be beat.A block from beach and a lot of drink and dining options nearby.

The room was beyond tiny. Bathroom was a box and guests and property was loud. The sister property (Pacific Shores Inn) a block away, (where you have pool access as it is not on the property as advertised) offered a free night stay past 3 nights and accommodations looked much more spacious.
