Clean linen, helpful staff.

A little noisy

Very clean guest house, fresh and stain-free bed linen, all needed services are available, careful staff. I felt like at home there. Location is also nice - not in the super busy Thamel, but 3min walking distance from it. I stayed at the pacific guest house a few more times after.

If you are looking for quite, hidden place, this is not the option

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I booked this place, but honestly it exceeded everything. From the moment I walked in, it felt less like checking into a hotel and more like arriving at a friend’s house — the kind where someone actually notices you’ve arrived and genuinely seems happy about it. The staff were very friendly Nothing felt scripted or corporate. They remembered my name by the second day, gave me honest local recommendations (not just the tourist traps), and always had time for a chat. That kind of warmth is rare and you really feel it.

I really like Pacific Guest House because it offers a comfortable stay, clean rooms, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes guests feel at home.

At times, service speed could be improved, especially during busy periods.

first and more most the staff were very friendly and they smile all the time. Location was so convenient for the purpose, whether it is for my work or for casual bar and food , literally everything was 5 mins walk from here. I definitely recommend this place. plus they were renovating there place as well.

Great stay with clean rooms, friendly staff, and a convenient location near Thamel. Good value for money and a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended!

If I can I would rate location as 20 out of 10. Everything is is few minutes walk from the guest house, you name it Thamel, all Embassies, cafe, bar, club and list goes on. Staff made us feel very homely. Night and morning don't hear lot of car noises but during day the street has lot of cars and bikes. Overall experience was very pleasant.
