Shahar Palace

Breakfast was a choice of Pohe or toast and eggs or stuffed paratha with tea or coffee. This was served fresh and hot in the dinning room and was satisfying. We also ordered from their menu for some lunches and dinners as the food was in the home cooking style, a respite from continous hotel food. The best feature of the hotel was being able to sit out on the lawn or veranda and have tea served and just relax. Felt very pampered. The atmosphere was very homelike. We also used their laundry service and got out clothes washed and ironed in the evening after giving in the morning

The vintage style architecture

Bathrooms were not managed properly, water supply was slow.

bathrooms, a little fidley, shower does not work so resorted to bucket and tap

The owners were the worst, cancelled my booking one hour before I arrived. And didn’t even seem to care.

She is so kind and servicial.
